Javier Botet is a horror icon and it's super cool to see him outside of a creature role, he was truly amazing in this. And David Pareja is clearly one to watch - he starred in The Coffee Table, too (which I've not been able to get out of my head since watching it). He can make you feel dread in such nuanced ways. Great actors and a great movie.
This story begins as a drama, a tragedy, before turning into a descent into hell, into madness. The film is not what I had thought and that surprised me.
Excellent. Really creepy. A few scenes were hard to watch.
Slow, not scary, poor ending.
Brilliantly made, chilling stuff, great performances.
