Hands down one of the best slashers I've seen. Great tension building and a good twist. Great costume idea for a fancy dress party too.
Lovely imagery and well done kills. But the twist for the sake of a twist derails the film.
This has been a favourite of mine for decades, so it's great to see it finally coming into its own. The small scale of the locale, lesser-known cast and even the intimacy of the murders really make this such a taut little chiller. Recommended for those who like their horror unflinchingly realistic and just slightly campy.
This film gives us an utterly horrible child... with no pay off to make up for it. And an unsatisfying twist. Boring too.
