I wanted to like this because I enjoy "woke", and representation matters, so giving a spotlight that "center[s] disabled, intersectional bodies" sounded like a win-win to me. I also don't mind horror movies that err on the side of suspense, thriller, slow-burn psychological-type horrors so the other comments reflecting on the pacing didn't bother me, either. However, I did have to turn off this movie partway through the third short story as 3/3 of the stories featured AFAB-specific concerns, tropes, and medical issues. I am very glad that awareness is being brought to "the husband stitch", which is what I am sure #3 was about, as it is an incredibly outdated and misogynistic practice that, if performed on a patient without their complete and sober consent, should result in the permanent revocation of that doctor's medical license. My advice - if you enjoy body horror meets social/political/AFAB-specific issues and have a strong stomach for witnessing trauma, both lived and relived, graphic sex scenes, and tons of bodily fluid; this is the movie for you. If you're like me and don't need to see something depicting women bleeding, experiencing body dysphoria/dysmorphia, and having things done to them without their consent or knowledge, I would suggest skipping this one.
I think it was a decent collection of shorts but most were not horror honestly.
Get ready to fast forward until you decide to just turn it off.
I loved it, especially POSSUM - laughed out loud - love the send up of wokeness + the puppet / slasher scene. Everyone should watch for a good time
not even worth watching this was very boring
