Excellent, unique occult chiller. Catherine Walker & Steve Oram give great performances and I really loved the wrap-up. This had been on my queue for so long and glad I finally bit the bullet and watched.
Good story writing and good actors. Bit of a slow burn all the way through with some high intensity moments. There’s a couple scenes where they play a high pitched dog whistle sound for over 2 minutes. It’ll make your ears want to bleed be warned.
Loved it. Great acting, atmosphere, story. A great witch movie.
skulltropper here. i would give this a solid 3 out of 5 skulls. liked the way the build up went but the ending was pretty fucking shit.
A FANTASTIC and Beautifully Written and directed Irish film from Liam Gavin, came out years ago and the first time i watched it, i cried for over 2 hours after it ended because it resonated with me on a deep and personal level. This is a profound film that is thought provoking and slow burning but is entirely worth watching and is for the adults, as the youngins won’t really have the patience for the payoff at the end
