This was SO good. . . Until the ending. Still worth the watch. Unsure why it has an R18+ rating though.
I really enjoyed this movie. It had great scares and and great acting. I had no issue with the storyline or where it went. I would recommend watching it without reading the reviews because im still confused on why people said it had holes and didn't go anywhere. Im just a normal person watching movies and this was an A.
If you enjoyed Hell House LLC, you will LOVE this! The scares are super effective, and although it does get slow at times, it just makes it a little more tense. I liked the way they showed the events from each POV, so it pieced together slowly but by the end it makes sense. My only complaint is the ending, because I need to know what happens!!
Cognetti returns to familiar scare tactics he's used in other films, and they're alright, but "show don't tell" is saying for a reason. The non-linear telling could have been interesting, but didn't really add anything. It was alright, not his best.
Disappointing. Took too long to get to the point. Another poorly written movie on a limited budget. Actors were fine, but they were played.
