Containing one of the most intense openings in any horror movie, it remains unsettling and intense throughout
I saw this in theaters and enjoyed it! (By the way, this isn't a zombie franchise. The infected aren't dead and they aren't cannibals. If you think it is, you're some combination of (a) a casual, (b) unable to think for yourself, or © stupid. It's one of my genre pet peeves, people who think the franchise is about zombies. I never miss an opportunity to let them know that they're idiots. )
The second film by Danny Boyle. My second favourite out of all. But anyone who hasn;t seen Shallow Grave another one of his better films. My friend was in that film and also Trainspotting.
Some movies have straight to dvd energy even if they weren't actually straight to dvd. You can see how Jeremy Renner became a star, though.
