i honestly really liked this series. not what i was expecting.
Didn't know what to expect from this but it's really good. I like where they took the characters. When the only negatives reviews are from racists and homophobes, you know you have a good show!
"Skip it if you are actually a fan of Ann Rice ha ha." Actual fans of Anne Rice know that she was part of this (and the Mayfair Witches) production at every step, and that this was her last creation before she died. Extraordinary adaptation. Brilliant performances, exceptional writing, costumes, camera work, sets, scenery... this is the breath that brings Rice's novels to life. I hope this show plays through her entire Vampire Chronicles, because these characters are old, dear friends, and it's been an absolute thrill to meet them this way.
