So so…
I'm having a tough time understanding what everyone sees in this film. The acting from everyone was great, especially the actress who played Nim. However, the found footage perspective was idiotic, every horror scene I found laughable, the pacing was a miserable slog, the directing was mediocre, and the overall plot felt like a waste of my attention. I won't try to dissuade anyone from seeing this, as I'm clearly in the minority, but I feel like its such a shame that we have so much garbage that makes up our entertainment and mediocrity is about the best we can hope for. All of this is just one losers opinion, but I cannot say that I enjoyed this film much at all. Such a shame.
A must watch, it was amazing!
The Medium is a mockumentary type film/folk horror, and it was fantastic. At over 2 hours long, the pacing was good. It didn't feel like it dragged at all and made use of that time well
