Ehhh this wasn't really my cup of tea. I wanted to like it, but the jokes were over the top, crossing over into cringe territory. Though not my brand of humor, I can see where other reviewers loved it. No hate. Main character wasn't exactly insufferable, but close. Practical effects were outstanding to the point where they were better than the CGI effects. Predictable plot and you see the end coming a mile away. The worst thing about it, though, is the whole-clown's review below where they literally cannot help themselves from making it about politics. dEmOcRaTs aRe eViL! I cannot roll my eyes hard enough. Okay, Boomer.

wow... what a masterpiece. Tonally this is one of the best films i've seen in a long time - thats not even to mention the outstanding practical effects and character design. With licks of the adventurous charm you see in classics like e.t. and the goonies, this film pulls off something completely deranged. An absolute must see.
